Haunted Discoveries is an independent documentary brand exploring history, folklore, memory and the unexplained.

Created by Brandon Alvis and Mustafa Gatollari, Haunted Discoveries began as an original documentary series following the American Paranormal Research Association into historically significant locations and deeply personal cases connected to reports of unexplained phenomena.

Built around historical research, personal testimony and grounded fieldwork, the original series approaches each case with an emphasis on the people and events that shaped it. Rather than separating paranormal claims from their history, Haunted Discoveries examines how place, loss, folklore and memory continue to affect the living.

Today, Haunted Discoveries has expanded beyond the original series to include Haunted Discoveries: Family Spirits and a growing collection of independent documentary films produced through Black Hollow Pictures, beginning with Ghosts of the Gold Rush.

Across every film and series, the mission remains the same: to preserve overlooked histories, give people the space to tell their stories and explore the questions that remain when the past refuses to disappear.
